What I'm doing now

July started with Open air Cinema Buildup - 11 long and tiring days on the construction site to turn a field into an open air cinema. But now I long for a day of mostly relaxing (and curing my sore muscles)

Earlier this week I put ink on paper for my new job that starts in September :D

It's interesting to work alongside different trades like carpenters, electricians, scaffolders.

Learned a lot and spend most of my time getting power to every near and far corner of the outdoor cinema area. And waterproofing a few things we missed out after the first storm put some water where it didn't belong and blew a few fuses.

Followed by detail work after the entire setup has been externally audited by specialists (incredible to see to which amount of detail they went auditing the power setup)

That said, I have a small list of things I need if this becomes a regular thing (would also be useful for chaos events I guess)

Spent quite some time reading with the Xteink X4 and obvously built this nowpage thingy and threw it online on nowpag.es which you might be reading here right now :) Also started to contribute some smaller language and translation fixes to the crosspoint firmware.

I really like to code things with Django these days. Together with a SQLite database it gets very easy to build something and not worry about the friction of technology that comes with it.

But that mainly also boils down to having a nice hosting stack that i've built out over the past year.

Currently, I'm reading Dungeon Crawler Carl.
And switched my digital library over to Calibre-Web-NextGen

I've upgraded to the P4Next Recorder which finally solves a few shortcomings of the P4

Yes yes ... still working on it :D I've spent some time with friends and helping them to get their project off the ground so this one obviously took a hit. But a friend and I are writing on a concept that is due being handed in towards the end of summer.

And I've also started recordings of another audio project. So it won't get boring.

Because sure when I don't get NRDY going I should start more things.
